Various Artists: When The Sky Color Changes, Ducks Automatically Escape
(Ak-Duck records 2004 - adcd009)
Jerusalem based, independent record label Ak-Duck is proud to present it's second compilation (the first, "first one is real" has been out for more than a year) with 13 tracks of fresh IDM from the middle east. So if you get into this imprint you can really bor yer mates down the pub how pan-global your music taste is!
The compilation (ak-duck's ninth release) serves as a reference point for the label and marks a year and a half of intensive activity.
The compilation features tracks by Ak-Duck "home artists" (such as Kalbata, Mule Driver, Spark-O, Digital_Me and Rockstar Wannabe ), artists that will release their debuts during this year (Or Burstien, Binom Newton, Acute) and selected guests from the Israeli electronic scene (Gelbart, Dex Turner) and from abroad (Ambidextrous).
"When the sky color changes , ducks automatically escape" delves into different areas in electronic music, from electro-pop, acid, techno-electro, drum & bass, synth-pop and early analog electronics to dirtier rock-pop tracks. That's it in a nutshell then!

THERE IS NO TRUE LIFE WITH WRONG MUSIC
In the "Fucky Don't CD" guitars are not excluded, although the instrumentation tends to be more electronic. Analog fleamarket studios and Atari sounds meet modern digital production.
Many of the musicians, as well as the Fucky Laibel itself, live in Berlin. Others live in Stuttgart, Weilheim, Hamburg, America or Switzerland. Exept for MING's contribution, all material is unreleased!
Alex Bechberger and the comic-painter Evelin Hoehne, the managers of the Fucky Laibel, are well known for their label's good taste and releasing creative new bands. You can trust Fucky Laibel to find the genius out of a new generation of musical dilettantes.
The chosen tracks have the typical Fucky renditions of love and inquisitiveness, but with a stronger pop-appeal than earlier Fucky releases.
